Today’s top stories:

The Secretary of State’s office Thursday certified a ballot initiative that, if successful, would allow homeowners to have their property taxed at 50% of its assessed value.

A student at Cody Middle School reported overhearing a conversation between two other students that raised concerns about a possible school shooting threat Friday. 

U.S. Forest Service officials are tired of abandoned RVs and campers cluttering up a Bighorn National Forest. 

The ESPN stable of channels, as well as other Disney-owned cable networks, have all been pulled from Charter-owned Spectrum during a dispute over contract fees. 

A district court judge is trying to find a way to satisfy her obligation to fill a Sheridan County Commission vacancy.
