Good morning, and welcome to Cowboy State Daily radio!

Today’s top stories:

Similar to Presidents Obama, Clinton and Carter, the Biden administration last week used the Antiquities Act of 1906 to create a new national monument - but that’s something that would not be possible in Wyoming.

Wyoming State Parks announced Tuesday that Star Plunge, one of three hot springs in Hot Springs State Park, has been closed because no one paid the insurance bill.

Casper resident Reid Rasner, who came in 7th place when he ran for city council in Las Vegas in 2017, officially announced his longshot campaign on Tuesday to unseat U.S. Sen. John Barrasso in 2024.

A former Wyoming Game and Fish commissioner says Wyoming doesn't need to worry about anti-hunters infiltrating its wildlife commission like what's happening in Colorado. But he is worried about the long-term.

And “Hella-stupid.” That’s what one Californian called his decision to join two of his friends in an Instagram-inspired pharmacy heist on a Casper Walgreens in May.
