Only 2 Other States Taken By Online Scammers More Than Wyoming, FBI Says

Perhaps it’s the trusting nature of Wyomingites that make them vulnerable to internet scams. The FBI reports that scammers stole more than $43 million from Wyoming in 2024, 230% more than 2023. That makes Wyoming third per capita for losing money to scams.
