The Wyoming Department of Health received reports of 451 recoveries among those with confirmed or probable cases Friday.

At the same time, the state reported 367 new laboratory-confirmed and 105 new probable cases, leaving Wyoming with 3,434 active cases.

Twelve counties have more than 100 active cases and four have more than 300. Natrona County has 539; Laramie 424; Campbell 331; Uinta 318; Fremont 239;  Sweetwater 222; Sheridan 216; Teton 182; Park 147; Albany 131; Lincoln 112; Converse 103; Platte 72; Johnson 68; Carbon and Goshen 51; Weston 48; Hot Springs 47; Washakie 36; Crook 35; Big Horn 28; Niobrara had 18, and Sublette County had 16.

Active cases are determined by adding the total confirmed and probable coronavirus cases diagnosed since the illness first surfaced in Wyoming on March 12, 2020, subtracting the number of recoveries during the same period among patients with both confirmed and probable cases and taking into account the number of deaths attributed to the illness.

The new confirmed and probable cases brought to 73,431 the number of people diagnosed with coronavirus since the first case was detected in Wyoming in March 2020. Of those, 69,198 have recovered.
