Wyoming Department of Health figures showed that the department received reports of 426 recoveries among those with confirmed or probable cases Thursday.

At the same time, the state reported 379 new laboratory-confirmed and 88 new probable cases, leaving Wyoming with 3,413 active cases.

Twelve counties have more than 100 active cases, with three having more than 300. Natrona County has 563; Laramie 438; Campbell 328; Uinta 284; Fremont 233; Sheridan 215; Sweetwater 189; Teton 181; Albany 158; Park 132; Converse 107; Lincoln 101; Johnson 65; Goshen and Platte 61; Carbon 59; Hot Springs 47; Weston 45; Crook and Washakie 35; Big Horn 33; Niobrara had 23, while Sublette had the lowest number of active cases at 20.

Active cases are determined by adding the total confirmed and probable coronavirus cases diagnosed since the illness first surfaced in Wyoming on March 12, 2020, subtracting the number of recoveries during the same period among patients with both confirmed and probable cases and taking into account the number of deaths attributed to the illness.

The new confirmed and probable cases brought to 72,995 the number of people diagnosed with coronavirus since the first case was detected in Wyoming in March 2020. Of those, 68,747 have recovered.
