A brief visit to Yellowstone National Park over the weekend left conservative political commentator Glenn Beck unimpressed and prompted him to say the world’s first national park smells like a toilet.
Beck spent the weekend in Wyoming for a wedding and on Monday, he posted a 30-second video he took while his wife was driving the family through Yellowstone. They were in bumper-to-bumper traffic on the way to Old Faithful.
“Our “Fun Family Vacation! Hey, let’s go through Yellowstone and maybe see old faithful. Here is part one of just trying to get out of the parking area after driving an hour out of the way and not seeing old faithful.” Beck wrote on social media.
He added that if anyone is interested going to Old Faithful in Yellowstone, they should instead stop at a convenience store and buy a bottle of water and a pack of Camel cigarettes. Then, they should light the cigarette, take a deep drag and hold it and fill their mouth with water.
“Next, Blow the smoke and water in your children’s faces, throw the rest of the camels at them and rip the biggest fart you can muster,” Beck wrote.
He also said Old Faithful smelled like a toilet and that they were unable to see the attraction due to the thousands of other tourists in the park at the time.
He did say the experience was better than going to Disneyworld, with the added thrill of the fact the park’s animals might attack.
“There are no available hotels in a hundred mile range and the line to your gift shops are longer than the line for space mountain— but at least you don’t have any line control, shade or big plastic headed mice who, do [sic] to the heat are at least more miserable than the guests,” Beck said.
Well, he couldn’t have hated the trip to Wyoming too much because in his most recent video posted Wednesday, Beck could be seen wearing a University of Wyoming Cowboys shirt.
