We’ve already reported that Wyoming isn’t a great place for dating, but if you’re single in the Cowboy State, we do have some good news for you.

You won’t be spending a lot of money on dinner, according to personal finance website WalletHub. According to WalletHub, an average date can cost up to $100, but Wyoming (thankfully) doesn’t see those high prices.

In a recent ranking of the best cities in the United States for singles, Cheyenne and Casper came in at 29th and 68th place, respectively.

Casper and Cheyenne managed to rank well because fun events cost less than the national average, although both lost points due to a lack of singles and fun events.

So basically, we can do fun things for cheap, we just don’t have anything fun to do or anyone to enjoy it with.

Madison, Wisconsin, was ranked number one, but western cities Denver and Salt Lake City were ranked numbers three and four, respectively.

WalletHub compared more than 180 U.S. cities across 32 key indicators of dating-friendliness, ranging from the share of the population that is single to the number of online dating opportunities to the average price for a two-person meal.

It could have been worse though. Casper or Cheyenne could have been like Glendale, California, which came in dead last at number 182.
