In the wake of the death of retired Wyoming Highway Patrol K-9 officer Lou, there’s another sad story to tell.
The University of Wyoming lost a beloved K-9 member of its community of its own last week.
UW Police Department K-9 officer Enzo unexpectedly passed away this week at the age of 10, the department announced on Facebook. Enzo served the UWPD since 2012, alongside his handler Sgt. Chad Bade.
The two conducted sweeps for possible explosives at UW events, in the Laramie community and during events such as Cheyenne Frontier Days, the National High School Rodeo Finals and at the Wyoming State Legislature.
