A Uinta County man has become the 29th Wyoming resident to die from coronavirus, the Wyoming Health Department reported Tuesday.
The department, in a news release, said an older man who had been identified as one of the state’s confirmed coronavirus cases died after being hospitalized for treatment of the illness.
The department said the man had underlying health conditions that are recognized as putting patients at a higher risk for complications from the disease.
As of Monday afternoon, the state had 533 active cases of coronavirus.
