A Campbell County woman has become the 25th Wyoming resident to die from the coronavirus, the Wyoming Department of Health announced Tuesday.
The department said the older female was not hospitalized prior to her death and did not have any underlying health conditions known to put patients at high risk from complications of coronavirus.
The Department of Health, in a news release, reminded residents to take steps to slow the spread of coronavirus, including staying at home from work when feeling ill, maintaining social distancing of 6 feet and wearing cloth facemasks in public settings.
The announcement came as the department announced the number of confirmed coronavirus cases seen in Wyoming since the illness was first detected increased by 40 on Tuesday to total 1,830.
The number of active cases in the state was set at 521.
