A Fremont County man has become the 10th county resident to die as a result of coronavirus, the Wyoming Department of Health announced Thursday.
The older Fremont County man, who had health conditions that put him at higher risk for serious illnesses related to the virus and had been hospitalized, passed away “recently,” the WDH said.
The man was the 24th Wyoming resident to die as a result of the illness and his death was the second announced by the department on Thursday. Early Thursday, the department released information about an older Sweetwater County woman whose death was also attributed to the virus.
There are 1,644 lab-confirmed cases in the state and 382 probable cases.
