The death of an older woman in Washakie County has boosted the state’s number of coronavirus-related deaths to 14, the Wyoming Department of Health announced Wednesday.
The department said the woman was a resident of a long-term care facility in Worland where a coronavirus outbreak has been identified and is the third resident of that facility to die as a result of the illness.
The department said 12 residents of the facility have been diagnosed with COVID-19, as have 10 staff members.
The last three coronavirus-related deaths in Wyoming have all been linked to the facility.
