Wyoming Coronavirus Cases Up To 309, Recoveries At 73%

The number of coronavirus cases confirmed in Wyoming increased by four on Saturday to total 309.

At the same time, the Wyoming Department of Health, in its daily coronavirus update, said the number of people to have recovered from coronavirus since it was first detected in Wyoming grew by 11 to total 227 — 73% of the total number of confirmed cases.

The Health Department said new cases were reported Saturday in Fremont, Laramie and Teton counties.

Laramie County had 70 cases, Teton County had 62; Fremont County had 47; Natrona County had 38; Campbell County had 13 cases; Sheridan County had 12; Johnson County had 11; Sweetwater had 10; Converse had eight; Albany and Uinta had six; Lincoln and Washakie had five; Carbon and Crook had four, and Goshen had three. Big Horn, Hot Springs, Niobrara and Park counties each had one case.

As of Saturday, more than 7,000 people in Wyoming had been tested for coronavirus, with 3,496 tests being conducted by the state Public Health Laboratory and 3,643 being conducted at private commercial labs.
