Shooting Reported In Cheyenne: One Man Injured, Suspect Identified

A shooting was reported early Thursday morning in central Cheyenne and one man was taken to the hospital after sustaining injuries, according to the Cheyenne Police Department. A suspect has been identified.

A shooting was reported early Thursday morning in central Cheyenne and one man was taken to the hospital after sustaining injuries, according to the Cheyenne Police Department.

The incident happened on the 100 block of East 3rd Avenue.

A suspect has been identified.

Dozens of police and sheriff vehicles lined Central Avenue and Warren Avenue as law enforcement officials investigated the area between the two major roadways.

Police tape enclosed the perimeter of one house on the tree-lined street.

Neighbors congregated outside the home.

No other details have been released.
