Dear editor,
I would like to say thank you to a few people.
First, I want to thank Clair McFarland for her continuing coverage of the debacle which is I-80 and the mess the US DOT has gotten us into with CDL holders not being required to speak or be fluent in English.
Her continuing coverage on this topic hopefully will make more people aware of how bad it really has become and they will start mailing legislators. I would also express my condolences to the family of the truck driver that lost her life last Saturday near Rawlins.
Secondly, I would like to thank Senator Lummis for introducing legislation repurposing that ridiculous EV mandate money into highway funding that is sorely needed. The general conditions of some of the federal highways and interstates is pathetic to say the least.
Last, but not least, a shout out to Tom Lubnau for his March 19 column on the stupidity of those three new Wyoming laws. He is spot on with every bit of that.
Oh PS, thank you CSD for your excellent daily read!
