Big Piney investigators found a deceased man in a home Wednesday with "significant injuries" and detained another man for questioning, the sheriff's office says.
At about 20 minutes after noon, Sublette County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the report of a possible deceased person at a home on South Mickelson Street in Big Piney, says a statement the department released four hours later.
When they entered the home, deputies found an adult man on the ground with significant injuries. The man "succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene," says the statement.
His identity won't be released until authorities confirm his identity and notify his next of kin, the statement says.
Another adult male was taken into custody for questioning. The investigation is ongoing, says the statement.
