Chance for snow in much of Wyoming on Friday with some winter storm warnings and advisories in effect. Colder with highs from the upper teens to the mid 30s and lows from just below 0 to the single digits.

Central:  

Casper:  There’s a chance of snow, mainly before 1 p.m., today and before 8 p.m. tonight. Up to 3 inches of snow is possible. Otherwise, it should be cloudy today with a high near 23 and mostly cloudy overnight with a low near 6.  

Lander:  Snow, mainly after noon, is likely today and it’s also possible before 8 p.m. tonight. Up to 3 inches of snow is possible. Otherwise, expect a high today near 20 and it should gradually become mostly clear overnight with a low near 2.

Shoshoni There’s a chance of snow today and there’s a slight chance of snow before 8 p.m. tonight. Otherwise, look for it to be mostly cloudy today with a high near 23 and it should gradually become mostly clear overnight with a low near -1.  

Southwest:  

Evanston Snow, mainly after 2 p.m., is likely today and there’s a slight chance of snow before 11 p.m. tonight. Otherwise, look for it to be mostly cloudy today with a high near 35 and wind from 14-18 mph.  Overnight it should be mostly cloudy with a low near 8 and wind from 6-16 mph. 

Green River:  There’s a chance of snow after 5 p.m. today and mainly before 8 p.m. tonight. Otherwise, expect it to be mostly cloudy and breezy today with a high near 37 and wind gusts of up to 34 mph. Overnight it should be mostly cloudy and blustery with a low near 9 and wind gusts of up to 33 mph.    

Cokeville There’s a chance of snow with patchy blowing snow today and there’s a slight chance of snow before 8 p.m. tonight. Otherwise, it should be mostly cloudy and breezy today with a high near 34 and wind gusts as high as 28 mph.  Overnight it should be mostly cloudy with a low near 4.

Western Wyoming:  

Pinedale:  There’s a winter weather advisory in effect until 5 p.m. There’s a chance of up to 2 inches of snow before 3 p.m. today, otherwise it should be mostly cloudy and breezy with a high near 32 and wind gusts of up to 23 mph. Overnight it should be mostly cloudy with a low near 2.

Afton:  There’s a winter storm warning in effect until 5 p.m. Snow is near certain today and there’s a slight chance of snow before 8 p.m. tonight. Up to 4 inches of new snow is possible. Otherwise, expect it to be breezy today with a high near 32 and wind gusts as high as 23 mph. Overnight it should be mostly cloudy with a low near 5.  

La Barge:  There’s a chance of snow mainly after 10 a.m. today, otherwise look for it to be partly sunny and breezy with a high near 36 and wind gusts as high as 33 mph.  Overnight it should be mostly cloudy with a low near 5.  

Northwest:  

Dubois:  There’s a winter weather advisory in effect until 5 p.m. Snow is near certain today with patchy blowing snow after 2 p.m. There’s a slight chance of snow before 8 p.m. tonight. Up to 4 inches of new snow is possible. Otherwise, it should be breezy today with a high near 22 and wind gusts of up to 30 mph. Overnight it should gradually become mostly clear with a low near 1.

Jackson:  There’s a winter storm warning in effect until 5 p.m. Snow, mainly in the morning, is near certain today. Up to 3 or more inches of snow is possible. Otherwise, look for it to be breezy today with a high near 33 and wind gusts of up to 24 mph. Overnight it should be partly cloudy with a low near 0.   

Old Faithful in Yellowstone National Park:  There’s a winter storm warning in effect until 11 a.m. Snow, mainly before 10 a.m., is near certain today. Up to 3 or more inches of snow is possible. Otherwise, expect a high today near 24 and it should become clear overnight with a low near -5.

Bighorn Basin:  

Thermopolis There’s a winter weather advisory in effect until 5 p.m. Snow is likely, mainly before noon today and there’s a slight chance of snow before 8 p.m. tonight. Up to 3 inches of snow is possible. Otherwise, it should be cloudy today with a high near 22 and gradually become mostly clear overnight with a low near -3.

Cody:  There’s a winter weather advisory in effect until 5 p.m. Snow is likely mainly before noon today. Otherwise, expect a high today near 18 and it should be mostly clear overnight with a low near 0.

Greybull:  There’s a winter weather advisory in effect until 5 p.m. Snow is possible before noon today. Otherwise, look for it to gradually become mostly sunny with a high today near 25 and wind gusts of up to 20 mph. Overnight it should be partly cloudy with a low near 2.

North Central:  

Buffalo:  There’s a chance of snow in the morning, otherwise expect it to be mostly cloudy today with a high near 19 and partly cloudy overnight with a low near 5.

Sheridan:  There’s a winter storm warning in effect until 11 a.m.  Snow is likely, mainly before 8 a.m. with areas of fog before 11 a.m. today, otherwise it should be mostly cloudy today with a high near 22 and mostly clear overnight with a low near 1.

Ranchester:  There’s a winter storm warning in effect until 11 a.m.  Snow is likely, mainly before 8 a.m., with areas of fog before 11 a.m. today, otherwise look for it to gradually become mostly sunny with a high near 19 and be mostly clear overnight with a low near 1.

Northeast:  

Gillette:  There’s a chance of snow, mainly before 10 a.m., otherwise it should be cloudy today with a high near 18 and it should gradually become mostly clear overnight with a low near 6. 

Newcastle:  There’s a chance of snow mainly before 11 a.m. today, otherwise it should gradually become mostly sunny with a high near 21 and be mostly clear overnight with a low near 5.

Hulett:  There’s a chance of snow, mainly before 8 a.m., otherwise look for it to gradually become mostly sunny today with a high near 21 and be mostly clear overnight with a low near 5.

Eastern Plains:  

Torrington:  Up to 2 inches of snow is likely, mainly after 9 a.m., otherwise look for it to be cloudy today with a high near 26 and it should gradually become mostly clear overnight with a low near 7.  

Lusk:  There’s a chance of up to 2 inches of snow mainly before noon today, otherwise it should be mostly cloudy with a high near 20 and it should gradually become mostly clear overnight with a low near 6.   

Wright:   There’s a chance of snow mainly before 11 a.m. today, otherwise expect it to be mostly cloudy with a high near 18 and wind gusts as high as 20 mph.  Overnight it should be partly cloudy with a low near 5. 

Southeast:  

Cheyenne:  There’s a winter weather advisory in effect from noon until 11 p.m. Snow is likely today and mainly before midnight tonight.  Up to 6 inches of snow is possible. Otherwise, the high today should be near 26 and it should gradually become partly cloudy overnight with a low near 8. 

Laramie:  There’s a winter weather advisory in effect from noon until 11 p.m. Snow, mainly after noon, is likely today and snow is possible before midnight tonight. Up to 2 inches of snow is possible. Otherwise, the high today should be near 32 and it should gradually become partly cloudy overnight with a low near 4.

Pine Bluffs:  There’s a chance of snow mainly after 11 a.m. today and before 11 p.m. tonight. Up to around 2 inches of snow is possible.  Otherwise, look for it to be mostly cloudy today with a high near 24 and skies should gradually clear overnight with a low near 9.

South Central:  

Rawlins:  There’s a winter weather advisory in effect from noon until 11 p.m. Snow, mainly after 11 a.m., and patchy blowing snow is likely today and snow is possible before 11 p.m. tonight. Up to around 3 inches of snow is possible. Otherwise, it should be breezy today with a high near 32 and wind gusts of up to 35 mph. Overnight it should gradually become mostly clear with a low near 2.

Saratoga:  Snow, mainly after 11 a.m., is likely today and possible before 11 p.m. tonight. Otherwise, look for it to be breezy today with a high near 32 and wind gusts of up to 30 mph. Overnight it should be mostly cloudy with a low near 5.

Wamsutter:  Snow, mainly after 3 p.m. with patchy blowing snow, is likely today and snow is possible tonight, mainly before 8 p.m.  Otherwise, expect it to be cloudy and breezy today with a high near 33 and winds gusting as high as 33 mph. Overnight it should be mostly cloudy and blustery with a low near 2 and wind gusts of up to 23 mph.
