The historic Plains Hotel in downtown Cheyenne is for sale at an asking price of $5.85 million dollars.
After a grizzly bear killed a couple in a Canada national park and hunters in Yellowstone country have shot bears in self-defense recently, the question is again raised whether a firearm or bear spray is the best defense to pack in grizzly country.
A trip to Old Trail Town in Cody is a step back to the Old West. The 6-acre complex has 28 buildings, seven gravesites, a museum of Western artifacts and more than 100 wagons and carriages. And now it's finally got a brothel.
George Henry Eighmy was a Union Civil War veteran who likely fought at Antietam, married seven women and was convicted of felonies in two states. He was buried in Gillette under a wrong Confederate headstone for 107 years. It was recently replaced.
Cowboy State Daily meteorologist Don Day helped set a new world skydiving record last week in Roswell, New Mexico, as part of the Alpha 5 team that jumped from the world’s largest hot air balloon at 38,067 feet.
