A federal judge Friday dismissed a lawsuit filed by six Wyoming sorority members over its first transgender member, saying the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority can interpret its own rules and bylaws how it sees fit, including how to define the word “woman.”
Evanston and Uinta County officials claim underhanded politics are at play in decisions to demolish buildings on the old Wyoming State Hospital campus, saying they’re frustrated at being treated as the state’s, quote, “bastard stepchild.”
Star Trek was set in a future where physical money is obsolete on Earth.
That future could be coming true sooner than one might think, at least when it comes to our local Taco John’s.
It’s been more than two weeks since an Arapahoe man died in a shooting on the Wind River Indian Reservation, and federal police have yet to acknowledge the shooting publicly.
This past Wyoming winter overstayed its welcome, spring extended its stay and summer feels like it just got here. But is the Cowboy State already transitioning to fall? All signs say yes.
And Columnist Rod Miller writes, "When I was a young lad learning to buy horses, the best advice anyone ever gave me was, 'Count the brands.' If a horse had more than one brand, it meant that he was a problem for somebody."
