Brutal winter storms that exacted a heavy toll on Wyoming wildlife also killed significant numbers of livestock on Cowboy State ranches earlier this year. Farm Service Agency officials say they are still tabulating the data for what they say could have been one of the worst winters for livestock losses in Wyoming history.
Nearly three weeks after Breanna Mitchell went missing, the Washakie County Sheriff's Office is coordinating a final search to find the missing 28-year-old Worland woman.
The Wyoming prison system has ten transgender inmates - and the Wyoming Department of Corrections told Cowboy State Daily it has not paid for any gender-reassignment surgeries for those inmates, but does provide hormones in some cases.
After muscling much smaller rival Taco John’s out of its trademark for “Taco Tuesday,” Taco Bell wasted little time in announcing its own Taco Tuesday promotion.
Recent bison attacks that left two women gravely injured apparently weren’t enough to dissuade a man with a small child in his arms from walking right up to a bison in Yellowstone. Somebody nearby caught a video of the foolhardy act, which took place at Old Faithful.
