It’s Friday, June 30, 2023 and it looks to be a very nice day across much of western Wyoming.  Parts of southeast and south-central Wyoming, as well as the eastern plains could see heavy rain. 

Central:   

Casper:  It should be mostly cloudy today with showers likely, a high near 71 and an overnight low near 53 under mostly clear skies. 

Riverton:  Look for it to be mostly sunny today with a slight chance of showers, a high near 78 and the overnight low near 53 under mostly clear skies. 

Shoshoni:  There’s a slight chance of showers today, otherwise mostly sunny with a high near 78 and an overnight low of around 54 under mostly clear skies. 

Southwest:   

EvanstonSkies should be sunny today with a high near 72 and mostly clear overnight with a low near 45. 

Rock Springs:  Look for it to be mostly sunny today with a slight chance of showers, a high near 74 and the overnight low near 51 under mostly clear skies. 

LymanIt should be sunny today with a high near 76 and mostly clear overnight with a low near 47. 

Western Wyoming:   

Pinedale:  Expect it to be mostly sunny today with a slight chance of showers, a high near 71 and the overnight low near 44 under mostly clear skies. 

Alpine:  It should be sunny today with a high near 76 and mostly clear overnight with a low near 48.   

Big Piney:  Look for sunny skies today with a high near 73 and mostly clear conditions overnight with a low near 43.  

Northwest:   

DuboisThere’s a chance of afternoon and evening showers, otherwise mostly sunny today with a high near 69 and mostly clear overnight with a low near 46. 

Jackson: Look for sunny skies today with a high near 75 and mostly clear conditions overnight with a low near 47.   

Old Faithful in Yellowstone National Park:  There’s a possibility of afternoon showers today with a high near 71 and it should be mostly clear overnight with a low near 44.  

Bighorn Basin:   

ThermopolisThere’s a slight chance of showers this morning, otherwise mostly sunny with a high near 80 today and mostly clear overnight with a low around 55.  

Cody: It should be sunny today with a high near 78 and mostly clear overnight with a low near 57.    

Worland:  Expect it to be mostly sunny today with a high near 80 and mostly clear overnight with a low near 54. 

North Central:   

Buffalo:  There’s a chance of showers mainly between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., otherwise mostly sunny today with a high near 74 and mostly clear overnight with a low of around 55. 

Sheridan:  It should be mostly sunny today with a high near 83 and mostly clear overnight with a low near 54.     

Big Horn:  There’s a slight chance of afternoon showers, otherwise mostly sunny with high near 80 today and mostly clear overnight with a low around 56.   

Northeast:   

GilletteThere’s a chance of showers mainly after 1 p.m. and before 7 p.m., otherwise partly sunny today with a high near 75 and mostly clear overnight with a low of around 53. 

Newcastle:  Showers are likely mainly after noon, otherwise mostly cloudy today with a high near 74 and there’s a slight chance of showers before midnight under partly cloudy skies overnight with a low near 51.  

Hulett:  There’s a chance of showers mainly after noon, otherwise it should be partly sunny today with a high near 77 and mostly clear overnight with a low of around 53. 

Eastern Plains:   

Torrington:  There’s a flood watch in effect until 3 p.m. today with showers likely. Some storms could produce heavy rain.  The high should be near 72 today and overnight there’s a chance of showers mainly before midnight under partly cloudy skies with a low near 52. 

Douglas:  There’s a flood watch in effect until 3 p.m. today with showers likely. Some storms could produce heavy rain.  The high should be near 71 today and overnight there’s a chance of showers before midnight under partly cloudy skies with a low near 49. 

Kaycee:  There’s a chance of showers mainly between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., otherwise partly sunny today with a high near 74 and mostly clear overnight with a low of around 54.  

Southeast:   

Cheyenne:  Showers are likely today with some storms producing heavy rain.  The high should be near 68 today and overnight there’s a chance of showers before midnight under partly cloudy skies with a low near 49. 

Laramie:  Showers are likely today mainly after 1 p.m. with some storms producing heavy rain.  The high should be near 66 today and overnight there’s a chance of showers before midnight under partly cloudy skies with a low near 46.  

Pine Bluffs:  There’s a flood watch in effect until 3 p.m. today with showers likely mainly after 1 p.m. Some storms could produce heavy rain.  The high should be near 69 today and overnight there’s a chance of showers mainly before midnight under mostly cloudy skies with a low near 50.  

South Central:   

Rawlins:  There’s a good chance of showers mainly after 3 p.m. with some storms producing heavy rain. Otherwise, it should be partly sunny today with a high near 70 and mostly clear overnight with a low near 49.   

Encampment:  Showers are likely mainly after 1 p.m. with some storms producing heavy rain. Otherwise, it should be partly sunny today with a high near 66 and mostly clear overnight with a low near 45. 

Wamsutter: There’s a chance of showers today and a slight chance tonight before 7 p.m. Otherwise, it should be partly sunny today with a high near 70 and mostly clear overnight with a low near 46. Winds could gust to 21 mph during the day and 22 mph overnight.
