It's Friday, April 7 - and although we've all had enough of the snow and cold, some parts of the state have to wait just a little longer. Central Wyoming is still shaking off the effects of the last big winter storm, but warmer temperatures today should melt the ice and open the highway between Casper and Shoshoni.
We will be transitioning to a warmer and drier pattern for the next several days, although temperatures will continue to remain well below normal today. The warming trend will continue through the weekend and into the early part of next week, with temperatures near to just above normal by Sunday - finally, our first taste of spring!
