It’s Sunday, March 26 – and snow continues to fall today in the northern part of the Cowboy State. Farther south, cold temperatures remain, with wind chill values below zero. A winter storm warning is in effect for the north central part of the state.

Central:

There’s a 20 percent chance of snow showers this afternoon in Lander, otherwise mostly sunny, with a high near 26. Mostly sunny and breezy in Casper today, with a high near 31; with gusts as high as 32 mph. Mostly sunny and breezy today in Glenrock, with a high near 34 and gusts as high as 30 mph.

Lander has a 30 percent chance of snow showers overnight, with a low around 12. There’s a 20 percent chance of snow showers overnight in Casper, with a low around 18; breezy, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Mostly cloudy overnight in Glenrock, with a low around 17; breezy, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Southwest:

There’s a 40 percent chance of snow showers this afternoon in Evanston, otherwise partly sunny, with a high near 20 and wind chill values as low as -11; new snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. Mostly sunny today in Green River, with a high near 22 and wind chill values as low as -5. There’s a 20 percent chance of snow showers this afternoon over South Pass, otherwise mostly sunny, with a high near 16 and wind chill values as low as -15; breezy, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Mostly cloudy overnight in Evanston, with a low around 2 and wind chill values as low as -7. Mostly cloudy tonight in Green River, with a low around 8 and wind chill values as low as zero. There’s a slight chance of snow showers over South Pass tonight, with a low around 3 and wind chill values as low as -10. 

Western Wyoming:

Snow showers are likely in Star Valley this afternoon, with a high near 26 and wind chill values as low as zero; new snow accumulation of less than one inch possible. There’s a 40 percent chance of snow showers this afternoon in Pinedale (less than half an inch possible), otherwise partly sunny, with a high near 15 and wind chill values as low as -10. There’s a 20 percent chance of snow showers this afternoon in Big Piney, otherwise partly sunny, with a high near 15 and wind chill values as low as -15. 

There’s a 30 percent chance of snow showers overnight in Star Valley, with a low around 9. Pinedale has a 30 percent chance of snow showers tonight, with a low around 0 and wind chill values as low as -10. Mostly cloudy tonight in Big Piney, with a low around -7 and wind chill values as low as -20. 

Northwest:

Snow showers are likely in Jackson this afternoon, with a high near 24 and wind chill values as low as -5; new snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. Snow showers are likely today in Dubois (new snow accumulation of less than half an inch possible), with a high near 24 and wind chill values as low as -5; breezy, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Yellowstone National Park could expect around an inch of new snow this afternoon, with a high near 25. 

There’s a 30 percent chance of snow showers tonight in Jackson, with a low around 7 and wind chill values as low as zero. Dubois has a 40 percent chance of snow showers overnight, with a low around 10 and wind chill values as low as zero; new snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. There’s a 50 percent chance of snow showers tonight in Yellowstone, with a low around 13; new snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Bighorn Basin:

There’s a 50 percent chance of snow showers today in Thermopolis, with a high near 35; new snow accumulation of less than one inch possible. Snow showers are likely in Cody this afternoon (around an inch possible), with a high near 28; breezy, with winds gusting as high as 20 mph. Snow showers are likely today in Ten Sleep, with a high near 33; new snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

1 to 3 inches of snow is expected overnight in Thermopolis, with a low around 22. Cody could see 1 to 3 inches of snow overnight, with a low around 16; breezy, with gusts as high as 20 mph. There’s a 40 percent chance of snow showers tonight in Ten Sleep (less than one inch possible), with a low around 17. 

North Central:

WINTER STORM WARNING THROUGH 6 P.M. MONDAY

Buffalo could see 1 to 3 inches of snow today, with a high near 29. 3 inches of snow is expected in Sheridan today, with a high near 30. Big Horn could see 3 inches of new snow today, with a high near 29. 

2 to 4 inches of new snow is possible overnight in Buffalo, with a low around 18. Sheridan can expect an additional 3 inches of new snow overnight, with a low around 14. 4 inches of snow could fall tonight in Big Horn, with a low around 15. 

Northeast:

There’s a 50 percent chance of snow today in Gillette, with a high near 32 and wind chill values as low as 17. Sundance can expect less than half an inch of snow today, with a high near 32 and wind chill values as low as 11. Hulett could see around an inch of snow this afternoon, with a high near 36 and wind chill values as low as 15. 

Snow is likely overnight in Gillette, with a low around 17 and wind chill values as low as 6; new snow accumulation of less than one inch possible. There’s a 40 percent chance of snow overnight in Sundance, with a low around 16 and wind chill values as low as 6. Hulett has a 40 percent chance of snow tonight, with a low around 17 and wind chill values as low as 10. 

Eastern Plains:

There’s a 30 percent chance of snow showers in Lusk today, otherwise partly sunny, with a high near 34. Torrington has a 30 percent chance of snow showers this afternoon, otherwise mostly sunny, with a high near 41. There’s a 30 percent chance of snow showers this afternoon in Kaycee, otherwise partly sunny, with a high near 34; breezy, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Lusk has a 20 percent chance of snow showers before midnight, with a low around 16. There’s a 30 percent chance of snow showers overnight in Torrington, with a low around 20. There’s a 20 percent chance of snow showers in Kaycee tonight, with a low around 17.

Southeast:

There’s a 50 percent chance of snow showers this afternoon in Cheyenne, otherwise mostly sunny, with a high near 34 and wind chill values between zero and 10. Laramie has a 40 percent chance of snow showers this afternoon, otherwise mostly sunny, with a high near 29 and wind chill values between -10 and zero. There’s a 20 percent chance of snow showers this afternoon in Medicine Bow, otherwise mostly sunny, with a high near 24 and wind chill values between -10 and zero; breezy, with winds 15 to 20 mph.

Cheyenne has a 50 percent chance of snow showers overnight, with a low around 15. There’s a 40 percent chance of snow showers overnight in Laramie, with a low around 8 and wind chill values between zero and 5. Medicine Bow has a 20 percent chance of snow showers tonight, with a low around 8 and wind chill values between zero and 5. 

South Central:
