The highest gasoline price in Wyoming on Tuesday was in Jackson at $5.68 per gallon. The lowest price was $4.24 per gallon in Laramie.

The price of gasoline in Wyoming on Tuesday fell by 1.6 cents per gallon over the previous 24 hours to average $4.82.

The website GasBuddy.com, which tracks national gas prices, reported Wyoming’s average gas price is down 3 cents from a week ago and is up $1.52 per gallon from one year ago.

Wyoming’s average price for gasoline remained above the national average of $4.77 for a gallon of regular.

High and Low Prices:

The highest gasoline price on Tuesday was Jackson at $5.68 per gallon. The lowest cost of $4.24 per gallon continued to be found at Laramie’s Tumbleweed Express at 4700 Bluebird Lane.

The county with the highest average price was Teton County at $5.32 per gallon. The county with the lowest average was Natrona at $4.59. 

These are the highest and lowest reported prices among those stationed surveyed.

Tim’s Observations:

 While some counties saw modest drops of a few cents per gallon over the weekend, other counties woke up to increases. 

Around the state, notable ticks upward occurred in Rock Springs and Sheridan, up by 10 cents per gallon, and Goshen County, up 7 cents. 

Teton County was back to an average price of $5.35 and Uinta was at more than $5.20 once more. 

The state average remains 5 cents per gallon above the national average, yet dropped almost two cents per gallon, to $4.82, from Monday.
