Tim’s Observations:

Among our surveyed cities, prices remained mostly unchanged overnight with only a few increases, while the state average dropped 2 cents per gallon.

This same pattern occurred before the Memorial Day weekend, when prices declined slightly, only to rise again sharply before the holiday.

According to GasBuddy, if these patterns hold out, expect prices to climb again before the 4th of July holiday.

A few of the bigger price shifts occurred Tuesday in these counties: Big Horn, $5.04 to $4.81; Campbell, $4.81 to $4.75; Converse, $4.60 to $4.81; Crook, $4.81 to $4.97; Platte, $5.20 to $4.98, and Sheridan, $4.81 to $4.94.
