The price of gasoline in Wyoming increased by 3.3 cents per gallon on Thursday over the previous 24 hours to average $4.34 per gallon, continuing the upward trend of the last several weeks.
The website GasBuddy.com, which tracks national gas prices, reported Wyoming’s average gas price was up 5.5 cents per gallon over a week ago, and is up by $1.27 per gallon from one year ago.
Wyoming’s average price for gasoline remained below the national average of $4.60 for a gallon of regular.
High and Low Prices:
The highest gasoline price in Wyoming on Thursday was in Jackson Wyoming at $5.18 per gallon. The lowest was found at the Maverik station at 1301 Third St. in Laramie at $3.99 per gallon.
The county with the highest average price was Teton at $4.67 per gallon, while Albany County — the only county with an average price of less than $4 — had the lowest average price in the state at $3.96.
Thursday’s Big Movers:
Platte County was up 11 cents; Converse County was up 7 cents; Fremont County was up 6 cents, and Carbon County was down 13 cents.
