The price of gas in Wyoming increased by 0.5 cents per gallon on Thursday over the previous 24 hours to average $4.20.
The website GasBuddy.com, which tracks national gas prices, reported Wyoming’s average gas price was up by 5.8 cents per gallon, over a week ago, and was $1.23 per gallon higher than one year ago.
Wyoming’s average price for gasoline remained below the national average of $4.424 for a gallon of regular, which is a record high.
High and Low Prices:
The highest gasoline price in Wyoming on Thursday was in Jackson at $4.54 per gallon. The lowest surveyed price was at a Sinclair station at 802 E. 2nd St. in Gillette, $3.89 per gallon.
The county with the highest average price of gas was Teton at $4.39. The county with the lowest average price was Converse at $3.99.
These are the highest and lowest reported prices among those stationed surveyed.
Today’s Big Movers:
Lincoln County was up 12 cents; Campbell and Carbon counties were up 7 cents; Converse County was down 7 cents, and Sheridan County was down 10 cents.
