The price of gasoline in Wyoming increased by 2.5 cents on Monday over the previous 24 hours to average $4.19 per gallon.
The website GasBuddy.com, which tracks national gas prices, reported Wyoming’s average gas price is up 6.5 cents per gallon from one week ago and is up $1.23 per gallon from one year ago.
Wyoming’s average price for gasoline remained below the national average of $4.325 for a gallon of regular.
High and Low Prices:
The highest gasoline price in Wyoming on Monday was in Jackson at $4.78 per gallon. The lowest surveyed price was at the Sinclair Station at 802 E. 2nd St. in Gillertte, $3.86 per gallon.
The county with the highest average cost was Uinta, with an average of $4.41 per gallon. The county with the lowest average was Albany, with $3.93. These are the highest and lowest reported prices among those stationed surveyed.
Today’s Big Movers:
Teton County was up 22 cents; Riverton was up 10 cents; Carbon was up 8 cents; Uinta County was down 9 cents, and Campbell County was down 22 cents.
The Most Common County Average:
$4.16 to $4.18 cents per gallon, with seven counties reporting this average.
