The price of gas in Wyoming dropped by 2 cents per gallon on Sunday over the previous 24 hours to average $4.14 per gallon.

The website GasBuddy.com, which tracks national gas prices, reported Wyoming’s average gas price was up 4.3 cents per gallon from a week ago and was $1.22 per gallon higher than one year ago.

Wyoming’s average price for gasoline remained below the national average of $4.31 for a gallon of regular.

High and Low Prices:

The highest gasoline price in Wyoming on Sunday was in Jackson at $4.78 per gallon.  The lowest surveyed price was at the Gillette Sinclair station at 802 E. 2nd St. at $3.87 per gallon.

The county with the highest average price for gas was Uinta County at $4.37 per gallon, while Albany County was the county with the lowest average at $3.95 — the only county with an average of less than $4.00.

These are the highest and lowest reported prices among those stationed surveyed.

Today’s Big Movers:

Campbell County was up 16 cents per gallon; Washakie County was up 8 cents; Hot Springs County was up 6 cents; Carbon County was down 6 cents; Sheridan County was down 8 cents; Uinta County was down 13 cents; Lincoln County was down 28 cents and Teton County was down 34 cents.

$4.16 cents per gallon, with seven counties reporting this average.
