The price of gasoline increased on Thursday over the previous 24 hours by 2.3 cents per gallon to average $4.10 per gallon.
The website GasBuddy.com, which tracks national gas prices, reported Wyoming’s average gas price is up 3 cents per gallon, over a week ago and has increased by $1.21 per gallon from one year ago.
Wyoming’s average price for gasoline remained below the national average of $4.142 for a gallon of regular.
High and Low Prices:
The highest gasoline in Wyoming on Thursday was in Jackson, with $4.86 per gallon. Two stations in Gillette continued to share the distinction of having the lowest price gas in the state — M.G. Oil Co. at 502 El Camino Rd., and the Maverik at 1616 U.S. Highway 14-16 — $3.75 per gallon.
The county with the highest average price as Teton at $4.52 per gallon, while Campbell County had the lowest average at $3.91. These are the highest and lowest reported prices among those stationed surveyed.
