The price of gas in Wyoming increased by 0.3 cents per gallon on Sunday over the previous 24 hours to average $4.09 per gallon.

The website GasBuddy.com, which tracks national gas prices, reported Wyoming’s average gas price is up 5.6 cents per gallon from one week ago, and increased by $1.15 per gallon from one year ago.

Wyoming’s average price for gasoline remained below the national average of $4.102 for a gallon of regular.

High and Low Prices:

The highest gasoline price in Wyoming on Sunday was in Jackson at $4.86 per gallon.  The lowest reported price was $3.77 per gallon at the M.G. Oil Company 502 El Camino Rd. and the Maverik at 1616 U.S. Highway 14-16, both in Gillette.

The county with the highest average price for gasoline as Teton, with an average of $4.40 per gallon, while Albany County had the lowest average at $3.80. These are the highest and lowest reported prices among those stationed surveyed 

Today’s Big Movers:

Riverton, up 15 cents per gallon, Rock Springs up 12 cents and Wheatland up 20 cents. Uinta County’s average price as up 31 cents, Campbell County’s was up 12 cents and Sweetwater County’s was up 9 cents. Lincoln County’s price fell by 29 cents, and Platte County was down 11 cents.
